About us
We are Edinburgh's newest gym, but are not new to changing people's lives through strength training.
Whether you want to get your first pull up or push up, or hit that first 50kg, 100kg, or 200kg squat or deadlift, FST is the place for you. Most gyms claim to deliver results, but we have a mountain of evidence to back it up.
We have worked with people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and ability levels over the years, from complete beginners to world champion strongwomen, but what we are looking to do here is provide a place for people to get fit and strong, and live their life to its fullest potential.
Our programme is designed to get you started on your strength journey with the commitment of just 3 hours per week. We are confident that this will allow you to still live your life outside of the gym to the fullest, it is perfect for those who want to build a bit of strength and resilience, or those who want to use strength training to compliment their other endeavours outside of the gym.
Maybe you're a keen runner who is fed up of getting injured, or an outdoor enthusiast who doesn't want to struggle to carry their backpack on long trips. Or maybe you want to be able to do 10 pull ups and a 200kg deadlift, we can do that too! We also have an optional 'add on' 4th day for those who want to do a bit more, but are confident that 3 can be more than enough!
Don't just take our word for it, come along and join, for just £80 per month in 2024, with no long term commitment, if you come along and it's not for you, we won't try and keep you against your will. We are confident that when you come in the door, you won't want to leave!
